The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer - Michelle Hodkin
This book was phenomenal. I can't fathom the fact that I've had it for so long, and hadn't read it yet! I decided that in honor of the release of The Evolution of Mara Dyer, that I would read this in anticipation. My best friend and blogmate Kait kept telling me forever to read this book. If there's one thing I've learned... She never lets me down. Let me tell you, Michelle Hodkin didn't let me down either!
Mara Dyer is from Rhode Island.( Hey I live in RI!) She has a horrific accident in an asylum where she loses her best friend, her boyfriend and her friend. Mara is the only survivor. Dealing with this, she asks her family to move away.. for a fresh start. They end up moving to Florida. She enrolls at Croyden school, and meets the infamous, alluring Noah Shaw. Oh Noah, how I wish you were real. Noah is definitely in my top 5 book boyfriends of all time. Against what everyone tells her about Noah, Mara is drawn to him. Then again.. who isn't!? As Noah and Mara discover their feelings for each other, they also discover something else...
I can't wait to get my hands on Evolution. Finding out the curveball that you kept thinking about is real?! Shoot. I can't even deal with this. The unbecoming of Mara dyer is thrilling, and overwhelmingly emotional. Once you start reading this... you just won't put it down.
