Marcus Flutie
-No one can top Marcus Flutie. He will forever be my favorite book boyfriend and my favorite contemporary character. He's funny, smart, sexy, and oozes bad boy charm. He was my first real contemporary crush. -K

Allyson from Just One Day
-Allyson is the kind of girl most of us can relate to. The progression of Allyson from a young, anxious, and naïve girl to a confident and daring young woman is such a journey. -K

Lake from Slammed
-Lake is the kind of character you have to root for. She's so courageous and mature during a time when most people her age would be falling apart. She's definitely a refreshing contemporary character. -K

Dean Holder from Hopeless
-Holder is awesome. He was damaged, and moody, and erratic, but so damn lovable. -K & -B

Augustus & Hazel from TfiOS
-I couldn't pick between the two. Their love story, one of the most hopeless yet beautiful stories, stole my heart. And so did these two characters. -K

Mia & Adam
- In the duet novels of If I stay and Where She went, how can you really pick just one? Written from both perspectives... you have to love both characters. -B

Callie & Kayden
- One of the most damaged couples, but SO perfect for each other... if only they could just save one another. Who knew trusting another person could be so hard?-B

 Never & Ty McCabe
- Two seriously damaged people, trying to help each other and working through addiction. Love comes in all forms, and their love is beautiful.  -B
