Top Ten Tues: Best Bookish Memories

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish
This Weeks Top Ten
Best Bookish Memories (waiting in line for a new release, meeting an author, or some sort of great experience with a particular book that was unlike others)

Kait's bookish memories -
-Getting my Harry Potter tattoo - HP will always be my favorite book series, so getting my favorite part of the series inked on my skin was an amazing experience.

-Meeting Jennifer Armentrout - I'm sure Beth & I share this, but I HAD to add it. Meeting JLA was one the most awesome things ever! She was so sweet and friendly and I hope that ever author I meet in the future is as nice as she is.

-The Jessica Darling Series - It's probably the one series that I felt completely connected with when I was in high school. These books got me through the awkward teen years and I must have read the first three a dozen times.

-The midnight release for Breaking Dawn - It's so corny, but I was in love with the series at the time and I had a blast at the event. I even won a trivia contest.

-That's all I can think of, but I'm sure that I will be adding MANY more to my list because this year we're going to at least TWO author events

Beth's bookish memories -
Ok so I know this is kinda corny, but getting a kindle fire for Christmas... and reading my first Ebook ever. [The Coincidence of Callie and Kayden] within hours of getting the kindle!

Meeting JLA / Kate Kaynak. They popped my author meeting cherry. It totally changed my perspective on Authors. I just hope that the published authors I meet are as kind and endearing as Indie authors.

Another Corny one, but... Twilight. Twilight re-opened my eyes to reading. For a while as a teenager I was "too busy" to read. I couldn't be happier that I read this series, because after I did.. I was hooked on books again. So I would say Thank You to Stephanie Meyer.

I'm not sure I can think of anything else right now. So I think I'll count these 2 FABULOUS happenings in my best bookish memories, because I am positive, this years events will be EPIC.

BUT! We are going to the Pitch Dark DARK DAYS tour this Thursday, Feb. 7th!!!!!

We ALSO get to meet one of our dear online friends, Megan from The Book Asylum, and Hopefully a fellow RI'der Sallie! [AND maybe you, if you're going!] Which we are totally super excited about.  We can't wait to meet you, ladies!
