Okay, Can I just say... I'm SO excited for this book to come out. This is going to be my birthday present to myself, unless someone out there wants to get me a present!? *hints* Anyways, I've read the synopsis to this sooo many times. GUESS WHAT!? I've been saving this WoW, but after completing every task for the giveaway on Jessica's site... I couldn't keep this in any longer! By the way, totally check out the giveaway! @ Origin Olympics!Origin - Jessica Khoury
Expected Publication - Sept 4th, 2012
Pia has grown up in a
secret laboratory hidden deep in the Amazon rain forest. She was raised
by a team of scientists who have created her to be the start of a new
immortal race. But on the night of her seventeenth birthday, Pia
discovers a hole in the electric fence that surrounds her sterile
home—and sneaks outside the compound for the first time in her life.
Free in the jungle, Pia meets Eio, a boy from a nearby village. Together, they embark on a race against time to discover the truth about Pia’s origin—a truth with deadly consequences that will change their lives forever.
Origin is a beautifully told, shocking new way to look at an age-old desire: to live forever, no matter the cost. This is a supremely compelling debut novel that blends the awakening romance of Matched with the mystery and jungle conspiracy of Lost.

Cursed by Jennifer L. ArmentroutExpected Publication: September 18th, 2012
From Goodreads:Dying sucks--and high school senior Ember McWilliams knows firsthand. After a fatal car accident, her gifted little sister brought her back. Now anything Ember touches dies. And that, well, really blows.
Ember operates on a no-touch policy with all living things--including boys. When Hayden Cromwell shows up, quoting Oscar Wilde and claiming her curse is a gift, she thinks he’s a crazed cutie. But when he tells her he can help control it, she’s more than interested. There’s just one catch: Ember has to trust Hayden's adopted father, a man she's sure has sinister reasons for collecting children whose abilities even weird her out. However, she’s willing to do anything to hold her sister's hand again. And hell, she'd also like to be able to kiss Hayden. Who wouldn't?
But when Ember learns the accident that turned her into a freak may not have been an accident at all, she’s not sure who to trust. Someone wanted her dead, and the closer she gets to the truth, the closer she is to losing not only her heart, but her life. For real this time.

Jennifer Armentrout is awesome. I mean, seriously, awesome. This is the woman who brought Daemon Black into my life, how could I not love her? There have been a few books out there with a similar "touch of death" premise, but none of them have really interested me the way this one has. I can't wait to read Cursed. I'm sure I'll end up falling hopelessly in love with Ember & Haven.
