Waiting On Wendesday #22

"Waiting on" Wednesday is  a weekly event hosted by Breaking the Spine, that spotlights upcoming releases in which we are eagerly awaiting.

Kait's pick:
This cover is AMAZING, Okay Creations makes such gorgeous covers! And the blurb has me itching to get this book NOW. Amnesia is so damn tragic and interesting.

Wide Awake Wide Awake - Shelly Crane
Expected Publication: February 2013

A girl.
A coma.
A life she can't remember.

When Emma Walker wakes up in the hospital with no knowledge of how she got there, she learns that she's been in a coma for six months. Strangers show up and claim to be her parents, but she can't remember them. She can't remember anyone. Not her friends, not even her boyfriend. Even though she can't remember, everyone wants her to just pick up where she left off, but what she learns about the 'old her' makes her start to wish she'd never woken up. Her boyfriend breaks up with the new girl he's dating to be with her, her parents want her to start planning for college, her friends want their leader back, and her physical therapist with the hazel eyes keeps his distance to save his position at the hospital.

Will she ever feel like she recognizes the girl in the mirror?

Beth's pick:
I really liked Fallen too far, and am super happy about this because I just need to know what happens to Blaire and Rush.

Never Too Far (Fallen Too Far, #2) Never too far - Abbi Glines
Expected Publication: February 26th 2013

He had held a secret that destroyed her world.

Everything she had known was no longer true.

Blaire couldn’t stop loving him but she knew she could never forgive him.
Now, she was back home and learning to live again. Moving on with life… until something happened to send her world spinning once again.
What do you do when the one person you can never trust again is the one that you need to trust so desperately?

You lie, hide, avoid, and pray that your sins never find you out

  17. Hi, and thanks for commenting on my WOW post this week! Sorry I'm a bit late in commenting back...I think I should invent a new saying: "So much blogging, so little time!" Lol. Anyway, I really like your picks! I think that "Wide Awake" in particular will have my tear ducts working overtime, and that's good, when it comes to novels! Thanks so much for sharing!! :)
